Not in the fight. I did run into him when you could teleport onto the Lady Vengeance from next to the tower where Baccus boots are. Not sure if this is possible any more, it seems to have been fixed.
You couldn't talk to him though. He would say things like "<conversation place holder>". I tried to kill him but his health just went to zero and he didn't die.
I guess we'll meet him later, perhaps on the boat on leaving the island?
