At some point Bullrush stopped giving the charge ability, making the skill useless.
No idea what triggered it, but it started while fighting the magisters in the prison area and stayed bugged after that.

I have had this happen too, along with the chameleon spell it seems they just simply stop functioning for no given reason.

Played a bit more and it seems all the polymorph spells just randomly stop working.
One thing that triggers the bug is simply picking up something which is automatically added to the hotkeys. Apparently the triggered skill (flight,bullrush etc) is assigned to a specific key, and is overwritten if anything else gets equipped there.
However, poly skills that do not give a new ability also randomly stop working so there is probably more than one bug.

The Bull Rush skill, etc, should be added to the first available slot, even if you add or remove items, or unlock the skillbar and rearrange the skills.

Does a save and reload fix this when it happens?

Please email supportdos2@larian.com, with a description (or link to this topic) and a save where this has happened (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc), or before if you notice any situation where this is reproducible (sounds fairly random).
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames' folder. In Windows Explorer you can zip file(s) and folder(s) by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder'.

A save/reload does fix this, as does simply removing and re-adding the skill from the spellbook.
For the bug to kick in i first have to use the skill once, then pick something up which fills whatever slot it was assigned to.
No idea what causes invisibility or the armor regeneration to stop working.
Will upload a save.

Wouldn't it be easier to replace the Polymorph skill with the Bull Rush skill for the duration of the skill?

Replacing one skill with another would remove the cooldown indicator and description for the original skill (unless a separate IU element was added to include that information with the new skill), and it would limit the number of skills that could be unlocked to one.

good to know that I am not the only one since it stopped working for me from over use in fights but my fiends still worked.

The cooldown will always be five, so after 3 turns the original skill will come back with a remaining cooldown of 2?

I have the feeling the problem of this bug is. During fight is the skill bar locked, you can't ad skills and therefore the polymorph skill can't add them aswell. This breaks the skills a the bug remains after fight, until reload. At least that is my impression.

Or make both skills always available but Bull rush is greyed out as long Bull horns is not used?

I'd actually prefer it if it would be possible to have spells/skills in the hotbar that are not ready, grayed out for example or with a no symbol instead of it completely removed.
Would also make item skills a lot less tedious tbh.
