Just wondering - is it too late to record any voice for the player-character. He (she) gets some line of dialogue in DD, and some witty retort. Now the center of attention seems to be on the Death Knight.

I don't need to hear 'I wonder what that did?' every time a lever is pulled, but limited speech would be nice.

Fully spoken dialog would not really be feasible for the main character. With the multiple speech options for many situations, plus the necessity of having at least one male, female and child voice, this would significantly increase the amount of voice recordings. On top of that, I'm sure having 'only' 3 sets of voices would draw complaints. Should the child voice be male, female, both or something androgynous? If the DK should sound evil, then a mage should sound aloof/intelligent and a warrior should sound gritty/strong, for each gender....

Personally, I liked it when the main character in DD made the little comments. It gave me the feeling that the character was actually aware of what he/she was doing. It would have been nice to hear them say something like "What! Another damb lever!?" "Ut oh! I shouldn't have opened this pit!"
It would be nice to hear the main character tell the DK where to go after one of it's snide remarks. Like the rope scene for example. When the DK says "Do you have anything usefull since you have been picking up all that trash?" (or some thing like that) The character answers "Actually, I have been putting all the trash in your backpack, and keeping all the good stuff for myself." Which is what I did BTW. Ya never know when ya might need some rotten food...Or a dismembered hand...

I hate to be whining about the voice acting in two threads already, but if the Hero's voice would have been on par with the other talking heads, I am glad he is mute.

they should have more voices, i like dd as it is but "i wonder what that did" get very boring very soon. it should have some sarcastic jokes or something to make it funny! We dont want we want
