I dont remember where exactly i heard it, perhaps from this dev session https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CSB3ZNRXmE

But i remember Swen saying there is to much dialogue to voice act everything, but perhaps they will have some of the floating text be voice acted.

If that is the case, then i beg of you, please do not have fort joy spam "where has your collor gone?" in my ear.

Keep up the good work smile

That's a good point.

On the other hand, it could be worse: the dialogue could all be sung using Meat Loaf lyrics. That would be pretty bad.

Yes, there will some voice acting for stuff like overhead text and combat shouts.

I've been looking for an original sin...

Well as long as the voiced overhead text isn't repeated over and over again, then I say MEHRGH, it's fine by mean.

"Be a big cheese on your block with a wheel of the good!" Though i doubt we'll be encountering a character like him in this dark and gloomy game i don't want something that continues to build upon the atmosphere to an uncomfortable level. By that i mean all the merchants singing out and stuff did give classic and EE alot of brightness it shone a little bit too much in that case. In 2 with a dark, dreary, dare i say deep atmosphere having a character which points out the mood of the game like that is a notion im not looking forward to.
tl;dr i don't want moody characters piling upon the atmosphere

The Cheesemonger was Paul Merton. Of that I'm sure.

If not him a very good impression (or impersonation).

I just want to say that i skipped over every single voiced dialogue in the original game and its EE version.

Because i can read faster then its spoken. And im pretty sure majority of players did the same.
Nobody can listen to Zixzax (or whatever) more then three seconds either.

So, Larian... all that money and effort was completely wasted for nothing. Nothing!

As far as the constant repeating of some short lines by friendly NPCs i have an idea.

Make "Mute" a non aggressive spell when used on friendly NPCs.

Thank you.
