One of my biggest issues with playing co-op with Divinity (same issue in DOS 1/EE) was the utter lack of ability to communication effectively in game. (but all of these things should be mute-able / block-able on an individual level)

You can do text / voice chat, which is incredibly important, but there are no real other options for communication.

What we need is a few more visual ways to communicate, which helps even more if text/voice communication is difficult.

- "Ping" a temporary visual marker (and maybe sound as well) on the screen. Look at any MOBA type game for examples, but if it's done off screen there should be an arrow indicator showing which direction to move your screen, as well as on your map

- "Flag" - less temporary (but removable) on screen marker, similar to ping

- Drawing - basically you should be able to be John Madden, drawing lines, arrows, circles, X's and such to plan, guide, communicate, and generally play the game.

This is a co-op and strategic game, where you can explore together or separately. We need the communication tools for being cooperative and strategic together, as well as to assist coming back together and such when at a distance

Edit: also you might want to consider being able to highlight/point out stuff in other characters hotbars and inventories.
