I'm probably the only person who would care, but it just seems wrong to kill babies, even if they are trolls.

Personally, I figure if they are big enough to swing a club at my head, they are fair game.

At least inside the mine, you might be able to avoid killing the baby trolls (I think only the large, Runekeeper troll needs to be defeated to progress). You can make peace with Mundus, which will make the trolls in that area friendly; I don't know if it will affect any remaining trolls throughout the rest of the mine.

Fair enough. I'm just an old softie in real life, and I guess it carries through to games. I also have an unfortunate tendency to over-think things. Like - I know you can get to Aleroth before destroying (or even encountering) the blocked gorge. But how? If a dragon can't fly through there, how can a Zeppelin? I know it doesn't matter; it's just a game. And I am enjoying it, each time I finally get back to it.

Maybe the zeppelin can get higher than a dragon knight can fly (smaller weight to volume ratio), and/or uses a mountain pass on the opposite side of the harbour, past the anti-dragon fields.

I'd also assumed that a mixture of anti-dragon fields and general unpleasantness from Damian's forts were the limiting factor. That said, I'd also assumed that the zeppelin route between Orobas Fjords and Farglow, Aleroth etc was via that tunnel in the upper parts of the Champion Harbour building and it wasn't until I replayed it that I realised that wasn't the case.
