Here are two melee type skill sets that I came up with. The first skill set can deal unparalleled damage in return for sacrificing health, which makes it deal even more damage. The second skill set is a defensive type that thrives when cornered and focuses on keeping enemies just far enough that they can't attack.
Revenant : Each level in Revenant boosts Damage by 5% for every 10% hp lost.
Skill Description Cost Cooldown
Frenzy: Sacrifice 5% max hp for a quick attack. 1 Ap None
Reckless Charge: Charge forward and damage all enemies in your path. Each enemy hit deducts 5% max hp but increases damage by same amount. This amount stacks. 1 Ap 3 turns
Predator: Jump at an enemy to deal physical damage and heal yourself. Can also inflict cripple. 3 Ap 5 turns
Immortal: Become immune to damage for 1 turn. 1 Ap 6 turns
Wicked Offering: Deal physical damage to characters around you to heal yourself. 3 Ap 4 turns
Cold Blooded: Sacrifice 20% hp to add 20% piercing damage to all attacks for 3 turns. 0 Ap 6 turns
Massacre: Sacrifice 50% hp and inflict a large amount of piercing damage to surrounding enemies. 3 Ap, 1 Sp 5 turns
Martial Arts: Each level in Martial Arts boosts range of melee weapons by 10%.
Skill Description Cost Cooldown
Dragon's Tail: Damage and knockback all enemies within weapon range and inflict cripple. 2 Ap 5 turns
Return the Storm: Reflect all enemy projectiles that come within weapon range for 2 turns. 2 Ap 6 turns
Serpent Form: Increase dodge by 10% for each enemy within weapon range and apply taunt to surrounding enemies for 3 turns. 3 Ap 6 turns
Cornered Tiger: Strike enemies within weapon range repeatedly according to their number. 3 Ap 6 turns
Phantom Strikes: Trigger an opportunity strike on enemies within weapon range whenever they attack or use a skill for 2 turns. 3 Ap, 1 Sp 6 turns
