Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Sneaking/blacksmith/crafting

I am sorry to have to ask,( but this game is difficult to learn), how do have character sneak ? I tried and looked at all the CHAs stuff and see nothing.

2nd: I noticed that there was no more blacksmith or crafting skill. How do I repair my gear ? Who can craft and what can they craft, is it determined by level of Character ? Are there still recipe books? I am sure these have been answered already but I don't have the patience to review the forum, thanks.

Crafting/blacksmithing skills are gone, but there will be recipe books and I think you can craft everything you know about. Currently the number of recipes in game is low.

Thanks Nuked, do you know about repairing gear, I would hate to have to pay everytime.

You don't have to worry much about repairing gear, durability is gone except for bashing chests and doors and such. There's no combat durability anymore.

For the most part you can still craft potions, grenades and arrows and make a dinner from fish. Also you can craft basic weapons but they completely suck compared to drops/buying, especially from gareth and pig girl. Worst thing is no weapon/armor enhancements yet.

Dagger on branch doesn't create arrow shafts though so you have to buy those, unless you know how to edit itemcombos file and fix it. Add this.

If you use spells and abilities, your combat gear doesn't degrade at all. If you just smashing the door/chest with your weapon it will.

Repair hammers are a one time use item now.
