So i'm doing a new run on latest patch.
Sebille
It seem all options of Sebille to Zaleskar lead to a fight unless you pass the Persuasion check. But he is level 8, by the time you done everything in Fort Joy, you are still level 6 and the check is based on each other attributes.
So unless you Sebille has Persuasion gears or built with high STR, she wont win the conversation. Killing him will allow Sebille to consume his heart, but last time i played he kinda also tied to Ifan personal quest.
Maybe let him surrender when he is low, he doesnt look like a honorable type. He also seem chill enough when talking to others. Or add an option to back off and come back later.
well i could let Sebille skip him entirely but she is looking for a smuggler and Zale fits the description. It must be her first instinct to engage a conversation with him.
Ifan
That's being said, last time i played Ifan as main, Zale recognizes Ifan when i meet him. Not in the latest patch, does Ifan also get some new changes in his personal quest?
Or is it because i skipped a trigger with Borris. Well, he was killed in an optional fight with Dallis. But isnt Zale also a Lone Wolf, he should still have no problem recognizing Ifan.

Not sure if these quests are designed to be played out eventually even you missed some triggers. Last time i accidentally failed a companion questline, dude decides to burn himself alive in the end...
