I want to create a paladin but I have lots of questions.
Is there any strength based weapon type that does magic dmg
I want my paladin to have necromancer+warfare+hydro so I can use ram to go melee hit them to destroy the magic shield and then apply decay+heal.
But don't want to go deep in int, I want him to be tank with shield.

The game has pet pal but does it worth to get it? At early game there is a black cat, the crab and some dogs o talk. But do they give any good quest or they demand to scratch their backs?
And lastly I want to ask what does the perk,I think it's name is blood sucker . So the question is do you have to stand on the blood or you have to move around to get the heal
Thanks everyone

Only wands and staves do magic (elemental) damage, but those don't fit the Paladin mold. There's no weapon type which does magic (non-elemental) damage, and melee weapons can have small magic damage boosters, but not full magic damage.

In terms of skills, I think you want the Cleric archtype. But that preset starts out with a club, so you might want to go with Fighter (1H sword + shield) or Knight (2H sword), and then change their abilities/skills/stats to match the cleric. Pet Pal is fine to take, it can help you with some quests.

Worth noting staves' damage are scaled on intellect as well, and make Warfare scale on intellect, so it's well worth using if you don't mind having a less "traditional" paladin weapon

My advice on how to make a paladin in this game.

Start out with Battering Ram, Peace of Mind and a third warfare ability of your choice, as well as +2 str and +1 int. From here start building towards high int support spells such as Fortify and Frost Armour. Alternatively you could go +1 con and go for 0 int support spells such as favorable wind, haste etc.
