Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Human Counsil Member: Key nowhere to be found...

I can't seem to get Mardaneus out of his house to get him to join the counsil. I killed all the orcs and that witch woman from the Black Ring (can't remember her name).
I know there should be a key in Lanilor's house after defeating her, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I even tried all the other houses, and even lifted every rock...

I'm getting a headache here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />


Anyone got a solution for this "bug"? Is there another way to get the key?

go to where u killed the witch and press the ALT key she should have dropped it.

the key is in Lanilor's house.

The key should be straight into Lanilor's house on top of the shelves with the banner and plant.

BTW, the ladder in the well is missing at this point in the game.

I know it should be in Lanilor's house (read some faqs because i really got desperate for not finding it). But it isn't there. I did look with the Alt key.

And the ladder is gone to prevent an easy way in I guess <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Thx, it worked, got the key through the link you gave me (lost item thing).

Before doing it, I looked once more all over the palce, but the key was nowhere to be found. Bug I guess.
