Considering that the release date has been decided, is there going to be a beta with say, more acts?

Or will it just be a continuation of the open access alpha?

They don't plan on releasing any more story content than Act 1. There will be one more "major" patch before release, but story-wise we've pretty much got what we're gonna get.

Nope, no beta, given that the release date is in 3 months. It also won't quite be a continuation, your alpha saves will be invalidated for the full release, since there will be 1.5-two months worth of changes between then.
