You can really customize your avatar, including the basic PJ's and it's cool! So many so-called jdr do not do it anymore, or just superficially to give you the appearance (but then only appearance), that your JDR makes fun! Well, it lacks a few heads, pictures and hairstyles but it's great. I did not see the interest of musical instruments on the other hand ... Nevertheless, there are some blackheads: racial bonuses and personal powers.
So, thank you for the humans, who are the worst of all. And as PJ's (the customs are still going), the others are barely better.
"Encouragement": super power that benefits everyone. So humans have a personal power that gives a bonus to everyone. Except that other peoples have personal powers only for them, but can benefit from that of the human gratos, who must spend 1 AP to launch them. Thank you, if at least humans had doubled bonuses on them, but then no, it's just a power that should have been a warrior skill (which was the case in the 1!).
"Flesh sacrifice": very powerful, certainly less strong than before, but still the best and by far. Especially the AP given in addition that combines with Adrenaline (but the malus AP does not accumulate!). And 1 AP in a game where we have 4 basic and it's over, it's huge.
"Lezard's blaze": nice, why not several breaths that unblock according to the talents Aerothurge, Hydrosophist etc. ? Damage increasing with the points invested in. It's just an idea. At least for the lizard, the talents would serve something ...
"Pretifiying touch": nice, like, not too powerful but useful.
That of the elves is powerful, it is true that after they are in foam. The worry: the rogue and the archer are so strong, that they smash everything, so even with little PV, it does not matter because they kill all their enemies without problems in 1 or 2 shots, hide and start again.
For the other powers related to Sources points, I'm not against the contrary, I found it well. Before seeing the operation in play ... In short, by level utility, it is a joke? Honestly, it's really because the BG characters look good that I'll take them, otherwise I will have only made custom. Time warp is just huge, in comparison none of the particular powers of the PJ's holds the road.
"The wolf": ah ... ah ... ah ... So for a BG of paladin, warrior, mercenary, you give him a power based on the Summoning. With a creature that does not have magical armor (so stun or frozen permanently, I NEVER managed to attack more than once or twice). He has the Taunt! Yes ! Great. Except he is blocked by the magic armor ... Are you making fun of us? The Taunt is blocked by the armor? Utility zero! And in addition, one can not boost it with the powers of the summoner, so compared to the familiar, zero. Thank you for this power that replaces Time Warp. On a person who would have deserved rather a power linked to Warfare. Oh yes, 1 Source point for this stuff!
"Break the shackles": ok, it's RP and it's nice, but compared to Time warp ... Well, it turns Shakle of bread, so it's still good. The best of them. But again 1 Source point, while first level spells do almost the same, gratos.
"Demonic stare": so it's nice, but serious between it and re play a ride, you take what? Moreover, it is not as if the physical armor was more important than the magic.
"Maddening song": Lohse possesses the dark power to control an opponent, then: 1 Source point / lasts 1 turn. Thank you, an arrow of charm or before certain powers (kind in rogue) worked also and better. Utility zero. If it still lasted several turns and in addition boosted the target, I do not say, but there, no.
Then for racial bonuses. Well, it is clear, if you want to make a mage it is the lizard (so nobody at the moment) / the rogue or the archer it is the elf (therefore the majority race because the two classes are overkill) For the warrior it is the dwarf. Humans have Wits at +2, YES PERFECT! Seriously, Wits? The characteristic that nobody will develop because no power is based on it ... So yes, we will put a few points like that, for initiative especially, but just not. Humans ! Why not give them the choice to put those points where they want?
These bonuses in addition are important, because they allow to exceed the maximum allowed, I do not know, but I find it pity to have done like that. I would have preferred specific talents like elves who eat corpses to regain VPs and get memories (on the other hand, I am the only one to find that glaucous? I will have seen more for the lizards) and let the players put 2 to 3 point attributes where they want. You could create 3 to 4 specific talent for each people!
