Not that I dislike corpse eater or flesh sacrifice but it seems they are better suited for the upcoming undead race. There are alternatives I think might suit the elves better.

Eagle Eyes -- casting and range weapon range got extended, ignore obstacle, accuracy of all weapons also get boosted. last for 3 turns.

Civil boost -- Lucky Charm.

And to balance the somewhat more valuable corpse eater, all racial civil boosts should be aura that benefits the whole team, that will also make the companion more useful if their racial civil trait doesn't top on their profession default pick.

The undead playable are skeletons, one and all.

Elves have lore of eating flesh to gain memories.

This is the lore of THIS universe ; don't assume that the game's operating on generic lore of 'elves = pretty human hippies with pointy ears'.
