Hello.

I'm in the process of writing up a campaign for my friends and I've watch videos and streams of the GM mode. One thing that I wonder however is, if it's possible to have a non-linear adventure? From what has been shown, the "campaign map" shows markers and the group goes from A to B then C.

Is it possible, if the players want to go back to an old scene/place to do so? From point C to point A. For example, if the players decide to call a certain tavern "home" can I as the DM send them to that point on the map again (travel animation) on the fly or do I have to recreate another copy of that tavern in order to travel further? I hope this makes sense.

Sure thing you can smile
There is nothing at all forcing you to create linear campaign in GM mode.
The scene will be exactly how you left it.
