Hi!

I'd recommend you not picking Glass Cannon as a talent since it makes you unable to block status effects.
The AI seems to know you have it and will target you with stuns, leaving you stunned for the majority of the fight.

Of course, if you play on Explorers Mode the enemies don't stun, so sure use it.

I tried GC out for an entire playthrough and it got boring real fast with not being able to play.

To make the most of glass cannon you need to make sure your wits are fairly high. You want to make sure that character is always first in the fight, that way you can take advantage of their increased AP regen.

Without high enough wits or enough characters who can remove status effects, glass cannon is rather pointless.

Glass cannon is the best talent in the game. I'd recommend to pick it up for at least half your party.
Just use your AP wisely, control the battlefield, stay mobile or go invisible.

The talent is good when playing Explorer Mode where the foes can't stun, but NOT in Classic mode. You will be stunned round after round.

It is NOT the best talent.

Why would anyone play in Explorer mode?
I'm talking about Classic mode and the upcoming Tactician mode.

I've finished the game several times with Glass Cannon-only parties, including solo.
It's just not forgiving if you don't play well.

I play in explorer mode. I guess I'm just not very tactically-minded. *shrug*

There will always be a minority of people that are not interested by the tactical aspect and play the game for role-playing purposes or "just for the story".
I don't expect the design of game mechanics to be focused on catering to that sort of player however.

Glass Cannon is a high-risk/high-reward talent, which synergizes particularly well with Adrenaline, Flesh Sacrifice and other AP-giving talents.
It is balanced for the harder difficulties and is not only viable in explorer, regardless of what the original poster claimed.

Always playing explorer during EA. No point in getting my knickers in a twist during the alpha.

After reading a lot of player stacking Adrenaline + Elf Active + Skin Graft etc etc, I am fairly sure this is a very viable trait depending on the rest of the build.
I am not that much of a min max (Although I like to put thoughts into my build, the general RP idea is still important to me, hence I haven't tried this combination yet).

Till yesterday I didn't pick Glass Canon in favour of Executioner, but after seeing the changes made to the game I changed my mind.
While Executioner has been nerfed (only procks once per turn), Glass Canon received an indirect buff with the nerf of Adrenaline (lose 2 AP next turn) which gets canceld out with Glass Canon.

/Edit:
I forgot that with the new system there is a direct buff as well. Now you will need to shock someone before you actually can stun him.

However I realized that I won't be able to use it for my frist playthrough.
As I'm planning to use Sebille (Main) and Ifan as a OneManArmy Rogue Tag Team.

Where did you see that Executioner was nerfed?

They mentioned that Executioner will only give you +2AP once even if you get multiple enemies in your turn.

Is that still a thing? I get stunned frequently in Explorer Mode. Both from coincidental sources (air damage when standing in water/blood) or direct sources (skills that include stunning).

Yeah, I've also been permastunned in explorer mode if I don't watch where I'm standing (or get caught in a downpour). It may have been changed in the last release as I only played up to the prison but certainly before that it was a regular nuisance.

If you play casual without hardcore preparing every encounter, Glasscannon surely is a bad idea.

Even without Glasscannon some early encounters in the EA way pretty though, without serious preparation, because of the bad equipment enemies could instantly stunlock your team otherwise.

It will be better in the Final Build, because than it will take 2 steps to get stunned, shocked --> stunned.
Allowing you to make 1 error instead of 0.

However even in EA it's extremely strong, you just have to be very careful how you play.
This talent is surely not for everyone especially if you want to play casually, as even "easy fights" can turn into a nightmare if you don't think through your moves.

I was actually hoping the the Shock > Stun was only applying to the player's spell to increase the difficulty.
Maybe in tactician mode ?

You can still get Frozen in one spell unless you're warm or burning.

Because you are still playing EA, which did not get a patch regarding this?
