After a few games I think by my self so why do they switch
Wisdom for Memory in basic D&D Wisdom gives +1 resist + one (skill in memory)

So why did they not go with the traditional consider all other attribute are traditional after all and wisdom would have fine in this game.

My theory,
They thought D&D rules would be to old school and they not like to look old their for given basic old for the new *-1 resistance a point*

D&D rules sucks for anything that is not combat related.
And they are severely lacking for anything combat related.

They were barely adequate in older games like Kotor because of the writing and the setting, but there are much better systems today.

D&D 3.5 has comprehensive rules for combat, but after 3.5 official D&D went progressively downhill.

Anyway, I don't think they modeled D:OS2 after D&D, considering the stats are like nothing alike.
