I played single player mode DivSinEE.

Yay! We can burn/destroy water barrels, oil barrels et al.

...Wish we can also hit and destroy buildings or part of a building (burn scaffolds, knock down stone walls or columns, cut down trees and take resources from them, destroy ladder and craft a new one, building ways to move around. things like that)...and a skill that makes characters go underground.

ANY IDEAS?

environmental destruction is nice feature but i don't think that's the selling point for a cRPG game, seeing how much destruction your characters can create is awesome but it definitely won't be in DOS 2 though. Game is too close to the release date already and the things you mentioned would require alot of works.

The issue would of course become 'Whoops I just destroyed the only way out of the cave, and all of my characters who could otherwise leave are dead'

Well that's an extreme. Having destructive structure doesn't mean everything can be destroyed.

It could be fun to ha encounters with destructible parts.

Archer on a ledge? destroy the pillar supporting it.
Why not but it would still be very restricted.
Might still be fun though.

I don't think even destructible structures would work.


GMAddon1: Adds almost every single monster and NPC from the main campaign into GM mode, plus a few large custom maps to use in GM mode.
