I've seen this as part of other topics but I can't find an answer. With the game 3 weeks away this is a fairly important detail for those of us planning a campaign and getting people together for it.

Has there been an answer on party size in GM mod without using mods or do we just have to assume the max is 4?

This would be disappointing as I have 5-6 players who want to join my campaign.

I know more than 6 might ne unreasonable and even with 6 I would want to have a good turn timer.

In the first game, you yourself could define the player limit with modding tools. I imagine if you make a mod, you can have a few more players, but given GM mode is hosted through a lobby, I don't know how to do that. I am sure there's a way though.


GMAddon1: Adds almost every single monster and NPC from the main campaign into GM mode, plus a few large custom maps to use in GM mode.

It is indeed 4 players +1 GM.

But like I said I'm sure it'll be one of the 1st mod. Like the bigger party size for DoS:EE.
