Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Level cap? and end game?

Does anyone know will there be level cap in DOS2 and also would game end after endgame?
I am really curious about that and I did not found nowhere proper post about it.

I have only heard lvl 30 on reddit a while back. Not sure if that's true tho.. I've only reached level 20 thanks to cheats however since I wanted to see how the gear progression looked like.

About end game I'm also curious.. I hated the fact that the first game became so empty when the game was "finished". No enemy respawned and zones were completely dead. Hope there's something recurring in the game world other than arenas (which I hope are repeatable...)

Yea I forgot that enemies were did not respawned in DOS and since I think I heard that they wont respawn here either, only valid guess is that "game would end on endgame"
Oh well I guess that there are if nothing else 4 different origin stories with different options to explore, and I did not even planned to go on origin char.
(though Lohse or Fane seem interesting)

Respawning enemies should be an easy fix for modders I assume however ^^

I don't think that there is a level cap per se just that you will run out of XP at some point.

Maybe but if you just look amount of quests in DOS and if they put that kind of amount of quests here and you get XP for each quests...... we will get lots of XP and lots of levels.
