So, I'm fairly new to the Divinity Universe, having just played and absolutely adoring 2, within the week.

I was excited to find you can play an undead version of all the races but a friend of mine brought up an interesting point.

If Elves consume flesh to gain memories, how exactly would this work for an undead Elf lacking the entirety of their digestive system or potions or anything for that matter.

And question 2, after consuming anything, wouldnt it just fall right out of their armor or robes and onto the ground for someone else to pick up and consume, or to even be re consumed, lol.

It doesn't matter... its not digesting it that gives their memories.. rather the magical ritual behind it... its more like ritual sacrifice sorta thing so doesn't matter if you can actually digest it.

Perhaps they keep a special invisible bag tied inside their ribcage to stop the bits falling to the ground. Perhaps they have a magical invisible digestive tract.

I honestly think you are overanalyzing this.

If you REALLY want to go into detail ask yourself should healing potions even work un undead? I mean why should they damage you if all they do is make a mess on the floor?

Even worse imagine a Skelleton trying to get drunk. Poor sad skelly. frown Better bring a mop!
