Playing through the game one of the main things that I wish is that your party members dialogue would be an option when you talk to an npc.

What I mean by this is that it seems like the dialogue options that you have when you talk to an npc are limited to whatever character you have selected.

So for example, if you are an undead and you have the Red Prince active in your group, then you talk an npc that has unique dialogue with the Red Prince you will not see this unless you start a conversation with the Red Prince selected instead of your main character.

It'd work better, imo, if your party would be able to talk to npcs and offer their own unique dialogue as an option regardless of who you have selected in your party.

So like if you initiate a conversation with an npc in the dialogue box you would see the normal dialogues and also any unique dialogue options available to any character in your party with that npc.

So if I initiate a conversation with an npc with my main ciharacter and then The Red Prince has something unique in his dialogue, it'd show up in my dialogue choices and the red prince would ask the question without having to leave and then select him and start the conversation with the Red Prince selected.

As it stands I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of great dialogues and unique options because I'm not having each member in my party all talk by themselves to the npc's.

That is the whole point of having different races, bc they are unique and people respond differently to them.

So you can either talk to each NPC one by one to get all stuff (if its possible with all NPC's), or you can replay the game as a diff characters. Your choice, but really, i think it's better as it is. Not a fan of companions just "barging in".

I'm not saying they should barge in, it'd simply show up as a choice in the dialogue responses that you can select (or not).

I mean in real life when you're talking in a group you don't have just 1 on 1 conversations while everyone else in your group just stands idly there unable to say anything or talk to the person, if they hear something they know about or have some insight they tend to offer it.

It makes little sense that a character that is say, being searched for by the Red Prince and then you start a conversation with that npc w/your main character selected and they bring him up, while he's literally in your party and standing there and there's no way for him to come into the conversation in response to that, it feels a bit weird.

In real life if someone was talking to you and a group of your friends and then they mentioned one of your friends who's standing right there by name and commented about them that friend would logically say something back, not just act as though they aren't standing right there.
