I have a few blank books and i try to combine them with other blank books and it didnt work. Also tried combining blank books with Spell Books and it still didnt work. WHat am i missing ?

By Blank Books, do you mean Blank Spellbooks, or plain books? If I understand it right, you have to combine Elemental Skillbook (Fire/Earth/Air/Water) + Non-Elemental Skillbook (Anything Else) to get a crafted skillbook.

I don't remember if it's okay that the skillbooks are blank. Maybe they both need to contain a spell.

Yes combine say a pyro book and ranger spellbook and get fire traps
