In this new DOS there much more way to create your characters, you can choose different classes, all the pre-builded character, and a lot of skills.

i ALWAYS play with a "paladin" (warfare+hydrosophist) so i can fight defend and heal, as main, probably this time i'll use Ifan Ben-mezd, but i dont know if create a character by myself, to have at disposition more characters with different abilities for all game long. And also i dont like too much the history of the character, if my main will become a new God at the end of the game, i d like that will be a character very tough.

I am also not sure for the others.

Sure a character with a thief skills, (Beast or Sibilla), for the high damage and for steal stuff from vendors. But as not main C, or you choose one with just scoundrel, or one with scoundrel + polymorph, that dont seems to me to be very good with scoundrels abilities. yes with polymoph you can turn invisible, but is the only one skill really useful. i think that poly is better with a ranger or a warrior.

i was thinking also to use the skull guy (dont remember the name) as WIZARD of four elements, and after give him also the power of conjurer, cause the totem and the minion you evoke can take the power of the elements. the thing that i have to study is his poison ability, he cant be cured by healing but just poison. can be very useful.

for now i stop here, i d like to know what kind of team did you create !

My party is lvl 4. At the moment I'm playing

Sebille: aero, hydro mage
Lohse: scounderl, polymorph

and my friend with:

Beast: warfare, geo, 1h + shield
Red prince: summoner, pyro

Regretably, a small mistake with the Withermoore quest and the bullshit stat boosts the enemies get in tactician mode, has me stuck just short of level 8 right before the battle with Alexander, which probably means remaking it 19 hours in.

(my Character) Fane: Necromancer/Summoner
Sebille: scoundrel/polymorph
Lohse: aero/hydro
Ifan: Huntsman/Geomancer


I am into the second act. I need to add a pyromancer user in there somewhere for the oil attack from ifan geomancer and the oil blob summoning from sebille polymorph. I just need a ranged spell fire attack. I don't like to waste my money and buy limited one shot items, but I hate the idea of wasting a precious point(s) in pyromancey when they are already all hybrids. I wonder if their is an magic armour like equipment I can buy or make that will give me a fireball spell I need.

Edit: I already have a fire wand for my fane character, but I want something for Ifan or Sebille since the oil attacks come from them and fane is usually using up all his points in his other attacks.

Atm it's something like...

Custom human: Geomancer/pyromancer with pheonix dive/shield throw and poly skills.
Lohse: Basic enchanter
Red Prince: Warfare/geomancer/poly
Sebille: Marksman/geomancer

Looking at that party, I must really like geomancer, lol.

Next playthrough I might replace marksman with a scoundrel.

Hopefully you'll be able to continue that playthrough once they fix up tact mode.
