Hello.

As im going to try an inquisitor build based on necro buffs and physical damage approach, i want to ask if hammers (the one on the character creation screen) are now intelligent based, or strength. (because the warfare preset skills stack with intelligence despite the hammer).

In a few words, i want to build a Dallis-Similar build, but instead of going the classic Necro/Geo physical damage way, to invest on Necro(int)/Warfare-Tank. Since many changes are applied, and we dont start now with a weapon to check, i want to know if 1handed or 2handed hammers are int based or if is there any other weapon apart from staves to deal intelligent based damage on physical armour.

If not, would be an almost 50/50 - Strenght/Intelligence investment, viable?

As a necro/warfare myself im running with a 2handed melee weapon. spear to be exact. but all 2 handers ive come across are str. based. I have yet to find a one or two hander that has intell. on them. I am early in the game though, I would think there could be some out there. Game is very big, wouldn't see why not.

Anyone with better progression on the game that knows if some 2 handed are inteligent-based, apart from staves?

Swords, Axes and Hammer are Str

Spear is Fin

Staffs are Int

Pretty sure there are not really any other kind of weapon.

Splitting your damage between Str and Int is probably hardly viable, at least not if you try tactician, because attributes have no secondary effects in this game.

Do you know if there are perhaps blood or eath staves that do physical damage? I am running a lone wolf party on Tactician mode as an Fane inquisitor and Losha(spelling) as a cleric with earth spells(Mainly for healing my Fane and buffing my magic and physical shields).

I have put no points into strength and was hoping for same scenario as described in this post. If there are no int scaling hammers then perhaps a blood staff? On the same topic what is the point of the witch preset if finesse doesnt scale with necromancy and int doesnt scale with daggers?

No blood staffs, and no physical damage weapon scaling from int.

also witch is simply hybrid build, she does a lot of physical damage, and uses both finesse and int.

Yeah necro seem to be more a leech source for meele 2h than actual "weapon". Might be better for you to run meele diping a bit in to necromancy and polymorph/scoundrel depeding on weapon of choice.

Poly has tentacle rape that scales of strenght and flight. Flying is bit meh but tentacle with high strenght natural for meele 2h hits like a truck. Scountrel has self and adrenaline.

Either of those dips synergizes. I am actualy tempted hard to go full poly meele since i can freely chose weapon as long as its str scaling.

Yeah, I am actually amazed how well my sword+board warfare/poly/necro does in terms of damage. I have shitton of strength, very good shield, and just mediocre onehanded weapon, which I actually almost never use. For actual damage I use bouncing shield, tentacle rape and mosquitos, they all hit like a truck, enabling me to utilize battlestomp and battering ram disables. Best of all, they are all ranged, so you can wear them down before you actually charge in, saving you a lot of trable, and enabling knockdown stunlock.
