Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Suggestions and Feedback [Bug] Bridge Trolls can't be defeated.

Hi guys.

I'm currently at Driftwood, doing Business Rival quest. This requires me to go and kill Marg the Troll, locate at the bridge North of Driftwood. The problem is, his health keeps fully restore after a turn or two. Same thing happens to the other Troll who gave the quest.

Since they both have massive amount of health (>4k and >10k respectively), it's probably going to take more than 1 or 2 turns for my level 10 characters to defeat them.

So I'm wondering, is this a bug, or a game design that wants me to come finish this quest at later level?

i dont think they are ment to be defeated but Marg only charge 1 coin so.

Get necromancer skill. And put on the thing that makes heals do damage. Im guessing that will work.

Both of those fights are difficult, but not impossible at lower levels. Checking their resistances gives you a clue at how to disable their "troll blood" regen effect, once you afflict them with the element they're weakest to it gets rid of it. Using decay won't work though since they're both immune to it.

They're immune to decay
They're immune to knock up and teleport

They have no magic resist
They have weakness toward a certain element
They can be Stunned/Frozen/Chicken chained

Also

Troll blood can be disabled.

Killed the level 15 one at level 13 and I'm about to go after the other one.

And you're not supposed to go after them at level 10. The golden rule of Divinity is to avoid fighting anything 2 levels higher than you and that weapon should never be 2 levels below you or lower.
