At the moment it seems too easy to gain XP and gold by performing immoral acts such as murder and thievery, yet there is no penalty for it, apart from not being able to complete quests if you're not sure which NPC you've killed is part of finishing them. I think one should accumulate "Infamy" upon committing such an act, reducing every NPC's reaction to the character globally and the likelihood that they will be able to talk themselves out of future illegal activity. In addition, there should be extremely tough enforcers / bounty hunters that spawn to attack the party if they commit too many heinous crimes, as in Baldur's Gate. "Murderer" and / or "Thief" tags should be assigned to characters once they have performed a certain number of each act and reached a certain threshold, too.
