Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Help/Tips/Tricks [Stucked] The Forgotten and the Damned-BloodIsland

Hello there!

I'm stucked at the quest "The Forgotten and the Damned" in Bloodmoon Island.

I've made a single character which I'm playing with, a lone rogue, but it seems I need to be a scholar to read the book "The Taming of the Holy Fire", which is required to enter the three vaults under the statues.

i've already crafted the three levers at the forge in the north, but I still can't access the vaults without knowing the song, and since I get only one character (and the others playable NPCs all dead), I don't know how to do :/

Plus I guess "Delusion of Grandeur", "The Silent One" and "Bound by Pain" quests are related to these vaults.

PS : I got the same problem with "Speaking in Forked Tongues", I can't speak to the salamander, and with "Treated like Cattle", I can't read the grimoire :/

Any ideas? Thanks!

"Speaking in Forked Tongues" requires your character to be (1) a lizard and have (2) the Petpal trait.
"Treated like Cattle" grimoire requires either high intelligence or the scholar trait.

My lizard wasn't able to understand what the salamander was saying even with pet pal. It said the dialect was too old or something.

Hmm then it requires the scholar. Didn't know that :|.
