Once you talk to the NPC "Nicholas" in Act 2 in Driftwood, the guy thats in the middle of the picnic, you can't talk to anyone else with the character that talks to him.
No matter what other NPC you try, can't talk. Me and my friend tried both our chars, both non-origin characters.
