Hello. Here is the thing I noticed:
During char creation, if You pick an Inquisitor preset (as example), and give him huntsman ability right after, then all the huntsman skill becomes intelligent-dependent (instead of finesse) and do MORE damage (even more than a ranger, or the other marksman class does) .
So, Im really curious, what is the downside of this? I know each weapon is like stat based, right? Does it mean bows and crossbows will give no benefit in this case? But this makes no sense, since I have huntsman skills based on INT.
Otherwise it might be a bug.

Does anyone know/tried this already? If so, please, explain how does the mechanics work.

you cant use huntsman skills without a bow/crossbow but they still strangely scale with the weapon your holding... even if it cannot be used to perform those skills.

You are right. Also I think the menu is bugged. Cuz as soon as u start the actual game, description changes.

The reason behind this is how the mechanical part of skill scaling works. Basically, skills that scale off weapon damage will also scale with the weapon required stat. This works just fine in Warfare, because it makes sense that the skills get stronger, the stronger the weapon you use. Also works in Huntsman and Scoundrel, however, Hunstman requires Bows and Crossbows, while Scoundrel requires Daggers. So if a character using a wand, for example, hover through Huntsman and Scoundrel spells, they'll see not only them dealing elemental damage, but also scaling off INT.
