Does anyone know how long the spell polymorph last when cast on you? I was turned into a frog in the sewers of Verditis and im still a frog. Ive been running around for the past 30 mins and no change from frog mode. Is there a special way you have to polymorph out?

i have never been polymorphed. how did it happen? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> it shouldn't last very long and if you did it yourself then just right click and you will change back.

I opened a chest and WHAM next thing I know im a little green frog. Ive beaten <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> before and this is my 2nd time through and my first time being polymorhped.

is it the frog stone. Are you stats the same?

unfortionaly the polymorph spell will not go away by it self.
It's a bug.
if you install the latest patch ,
1.034a, then this would be solved.

Lol i might be happy if I could fix the problem. Now im debating on starting over or just waiting until <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> comes out.

i did that. when i was about 95 percent done i had to restart because my hadrdrive died. but then i also got to do some of the things that i did not get to do the first time.

as for the guy that got polymorphed, don't touch that chest again. ok. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I think I was still figuring out how this happened when I had to format the hard drive. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

There are a couple trapped chests in the Verdistis sewers. If your spiritual resistance is higher than about 14, the spell will not effect you; there will just be a green swirl of light (IIRC) when you open the chest.

Unfortunately, as has been said, the effect is permanent due to a bug, and you need to load a previous save.

isnt there some magician in the whole game that can polymorph you back then??

I loaded an old save awhile ago to check this out, and as I recall could not use a statuette or climb stairs as a frog. This was designed to be a temporary effect, so there is nowhere you can go to reverse it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

no there isn't...it's a BUG...that means that the programmers never intended for it to happen but it did... there's no cure for it...yet!
