Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Help/Tips/Tricks Gareth missing

So I'm at the end of Reaper's Coast and when I tell Malady I'm ready to leave she tells me Gareth is still missing. The thing is I already completed the quest Burying the Past by killing Jonathan and showing Gareth the ring, so I have no idea where he might be. Any help would be appreciated


After further testing I think it might intentional.

Same, if u pass this plz tell me what to do coz this is just game crushing bug for me now. I cant sail without him.

If you killed Jonathan and the quest log says something like "Gareth left Paradise Downs" you won't find him again until after you set sail. He will show up in Act 3.

I'm pretty sure you can only sail w/ Gareth if you went the forgiveness route.
