Yes, by all means lets rely on the community to do work that should be done by devs. The issue is that most community mods will not be very polished. The very mod you reference states in its description that models may not work or be buggy. In the case of devs, especially Larian, these bugs would get fixed eventually. However, with community modders, who knows if they'll ever get fixed. The fact of the matter is that a system that was promised to be quick, easy, and intuitive is not really any of those things to a polished degree. I can totally work with whats there, and try out some community made stuff, but I have a very busy life and do not have time to learn the skills that go into modding software like the editor.
