Just answer the question in the title hahaha! I thought it would be interesting to get other people's opinion on what they've been enjoying the most in the game.

My favorite aspects so far have been the splitscreen feature and the really interesting character builds the game allows for.

Graphics. Combat. Difficulty. Stories and dialogues (wasnt a fan of those in first game, loving more serious approach in sequel).

I had to create an account. I just got this game today. I love EVERYTHING. As a WoW player for the past 11 years, this game has soooo much content. There are so many quests. I'm about 5 hours in and I haven't even left the city yet. I keep finding new people to talk to and do things for. I love the lore and how much detail they put into this game.

I'm absolutely in love at the moment, though I'll admit that it's my first play-through, and everything is bathed in the silver sparkles of wonder and surprise.

What struck me as exceptionally good:

- The voiceacting. Seriously... top notch. Even side characters have been rendered perfectly -- from seductive to arrogant to brutish -- and the voice acting of animals for 'pet talk' can be hilarious (... that chicken complaining about her eggs getting stolen!) or heartwrenching (the dogs...). (Ifan and Malady though... damn. I feel a bit like Traynor must have felt when she first heard EDI's voice...)

- The writing. I've always loved Larian's sense of humour, and appreciate it's still there. I'll also say that D:OS1 was a bit too goofy to my tastes, so I'm pleased to see it toned down a bit to DKS levels. It now forms a wonderful contrast and synergy with the darkness and horror elements with neither completely dominating. I also really, really appreciate the meaningful (side) quests after all the open-world craze-induced catastrophes we have had to endure lately. And finally, I am pleased by the return to a somewhat more conventional and practical main character + companions setup rather than the awkward 'double champion' theme from D:OS1. All in all, really well done.

- The graphics. I really enjoy the 360 degree view and zoom options now, and the characters look so much better now. I had great fun zooming right into the scene and playing detective in chaotic little rooms, or zooming out to play battlefield general in combat situations. The scenery and the mobs are varied and very evocative.

- Flying and WINGS! So pretty and so much fun =D

- There are simply so many things to see or discover or do that it never turns boring. It's the little surprises that are the true highlight imo, e.g. bumping into the rat that's compelled to tell lies... wonderful game.

Thank you Larian!

Befriending a random NPC because you can, only to have her switch sides and join you in the middle of a fight against her boss.

NPC's dying because you weren't there to save them (Seeker base outside Joy) because you were on the other side of the island saving Gareth (I wonder what would happen if you killed him? Can you kill him?).

I guess it's the sensation that I can really do whatever I want, but there are consequences for the actions I take.

The combat is by far the most amazing aspect of the game. I absolutely enjoy the prefight strategizing and then having to adjust tactics on the fly as the fight sways in whatever direction it goes.

This is followed by the quest lines. I love how well the quests allow for the player to chose their path to get to the final destination. It allows for the player to play whatever role they want. Some of my characters are honorable, kindhearted individuals that help everyone while others I make are sadistic a-holes who kill everyone on sight.

The last major boon for this game is the polish. While there are bugs that pop up, this game shipped in a complete nature allowing for a smooth play-through with many features that really drive this point home such as the voice acting.

Love this game!

The freedom that isn't really present in most other RPGs of it's kind. I really do feel like the game gives us the power to do things how we want and in an incredibly wide manner of ways. I frequently feel like I'm thinking to myself, "Let's try this strategy. No way will the game let me do it, but why not."

And then not only does it work, they even had scripted dialog reacting to it. The game is definitely very well thought out and crafted in a way that predicts what players are going to want to do, no matter what that might be. smile

It looks like you are trying to play Divinity. Would you like help?
