Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Do the skill books found depend on your class?

I play a wizard, and I've found something like 20 random spell books for wizard skills and none for others (though the non-random ones are there, of course).
Is it that only the spellbooks of your class are found at random, or that whatever the class, only wizard spellbooks will be found?

there are only wizard spellbooks to be found....but you can get skills from other classes on your equipmnt and by doing certain things.........

Then I definitely think that playing a wizard is totaly absurd.
I did a huge mistake.

Wizards' almost only advantage is their spell points, and they don't really need it, a few charms do the thing, and they lose on everything else.

I guess I'll start over for the 4th time, and this time play a fighter. He'll get all the skills he needs from books to cast spells, and be a killing machine.

Really can't see the point in playing a wizard, apart from the beginning of the game, before I get extra points from charms

Wizards gain double or triple mana from their Intelligence.

Yes, that's what I said, it's almost their only advantage, and it can be made up by charms.
Anyway, I'll start a warrior now.
