I noticed that while it's possible through levelling and items to increase skills past 10, it's not possible to respec skills past 10. Taking a point out of it on the respec screen doesn't let you put a point back in, if said points would take the stat above 10.

In addition, it turns out Attributes can't be respecced above 40- which is pretty bad news for lone wolves who want to be proficient with many magic schools

In addition the mirror doesn't distinguish between points added and those from items. If you are lone wolf and have +5 FIN items you can only respec up to 34 FIN (34+5 is less than 40).

If you want to go higher, you need to take your clothes off, respec, then put them on again.

Just put out your points in respec screen, leave it and then put it back as you want without limitations.
It worked for me.
