Well? What did you think?

It took about 68 hours for me to finish my playthrough, most of it on classic, a few of the fights I was struggling with I fought on Explorer or cheesed.

I feel like the ending area was kind of the weakest part, though I did like how it all tied in together, it just lacked initial direction. It was somewhat hard to figure out what to do from the start, and when I finally did figure out what to do, it was very straight forward from point to point. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't particularly good. I feel like the second half of the game was somewhat lacking in regards to new skills, after Reaper's Coast I only encountered a handful of new spells. One of which was a spellbook granted by a certain former-enemy, now freed, which allows you to charm voidwoken (w/o skill requirements or source cost too), though at that point I literally never encountered another voidwoken, not a single one. It was a cool sounding idea, but yeah...

The puzzles were interesting, though the last fights varied between tedious and frustrating. I managed to breeze through the entire game on classic, up until I fought against a certain arch demon, who literally two shot my group with a single spell. Kinda ridiculous. After realizing on normal he had no health, and could be gimped by having a high enough initiative skill, I managed to succeed by 1 point, cc'ing him and keeping him in his human form, literally murdering him in one turn.

Final boss + endings was unexpected, the design of them was pretty decent. There were a few issues, and some things I didn't like, though all in all it was generally decent.

The game wasn't short by any stretch of the imagination, I just feel like the second half of the game was short (even though it wasn't, by far). Story wise it was entertaining, the level designs were decent, as was the character design. I can comfortably say I did enjoy the game overall, though a few of the fights were particularly cancer, I don't like being frozen while having 90% magic armor and 90% armor, and 100% health, it's just like, rilly? Had a few of those annoying fights.

I'd still give the game a 10/10, what do you guys think?

This is a bit off topic, but did you manage to find a way to get Tarquin to finish Anathema? Supposedly it requires you to find out that Vredeman is Braccus Rex before the final battle, and I have no idea where to find that information.

I thought the game was good overall but has its flaws.

First 2 acts were awesome, especially act 2. Felt like there was a ton to do, a bunch to find, and you always knew what to do.

The last 2 acts were pretty horrible in comparison, I think. When you're on the island in act 3 or whatever, it's just... short.

Act 4 was the worst quite easily. Half the time you don't know what to do, the other half you simply don't know where to go or what you need to do next. Barely any of the quests have markers so you're basically left to wander most of the time. The quests themselves felt pretty weak. Just a bunch of fighting, essentially, against stuff that has a ton of HP.

The final fight was a surprise in terms of the bosses but the fight itself was absolutely ridiculous. Not sure if it was just me but it felt damn near impossible and took me hours and multiple sit-downs after rage quits to finally beat it.

Overall I'd give the game an 8/10. If the entire game was like the first 2 acts it'd be an easy 10/10 but they dropped the ball pretty hard I think.

Nope, Anathema was never finished for me, maybe we had to find him in town or do something else afterwards, maybe once we entered the Tomb of the Divine (and turned back after reaching the point of no return), though I kinda doubt it.

The final boss fight was deceptively easy, all you had to do was kill Braccus and bam it's over. Though, if you do it while anyone is dead, they stay dead so you better resurrect them before ending or else you don't get their dialogue.

Yeah, I feel like the Nameless Isle wasn't terrible, it served as a good transition point, and was rather interestingly designed. But, I feel like Arx just wasn't a good ending chapter. The final fight was decent, as was Lohsee's singing once you unlock it after killing the Demon, but still.
