I talked to them with Lohse as she is my main character and after the fight the attitude is "-45" with every single Elf in the cave. Same with my other characters.

Is there another way to raise their attitude except spending much money just to find out that they don't have good wares or quest stuff? Quest to save the elf from the cage is still open despite me talking to him.

Also how do I end the Withermore questline? I freed his soul but the quest is not finsihed. I already looted him and talked to the kid down there.

Game still feels a bit early access because when you complete certain quests they aren't marked as closed correctly. You finished the Withermoore quest it just didn't mark it as closed.

Far as the elves, do the fight once you're done with all the other quests in there and bought anything you wanted from the Lizard, otherwise you'll have to bribe them to raise their attitude

Apparently to finish the Withermoore questline you need to go to Braccus Rex's palace before destroying the soul jar.

It doesn't matter when you destroy his jar but if you do the quest will not finish until he has helped you get past the source barrier into Braccus tomb.

If the quest is still open for you then you need to explore a bit more after the gargoyle maze.

well for me I didn't smash withermoores jar until after I went to the gargoyle maze and withermoore did not show up. I had to use a source point to open the barrier. Then I went and completed the smashing of the jars.
When I left act 1 it said I never helped him.
