So, I took copied over an existing level in DE2 and made changes to it. One of the changes I made was shrinking the overall size of the level by moving and deleting walls. The existing floor remains even though the outlining wall is now gone. I've tried erasing the terrain and anything else I can imagine, but I just can't get rid of it.

Any help would appreciated!

You can cut the terrain from the Terrain Toolbar. It's the icon with the scissors (next to the 5):

It works like other terrain painting where left mouse click will cut the terrain and right mouse click will restore it should you ever want it back.

I tried that, but it won't erase that part of the floor. I drew terrain around it and it popped up all around the edges, but erasing wouldn't get rid of that floor.

I don't know what I'm talking about here, but I saw a tutorial video that talked about generating floor automatically for closed walls/buildings. It appears that is the case here, but I can't get it to update now that I've changed the walls around.

Ohhh, yeah it is possible that it is tiling connected to one of the walls. You can check out this post I made earlier today where I pointed out a tutorial video that goes over tiling.

I'm thinking you may have to undo it from the existing walls and re-do it, or something to that effect. Haven't tried it myself though.

Yep, I just selected None for the floor layer and then reselected Floor. Fixed it right up. Thanks for your help!
