So there are some nice mods out there already which tackle what some players consider to be the lack of tactics because of armor. These mods generally modify the amount of armor or health a mob has but I don't think tackle the underlying problem.
Would anyone be able to create a mod which uses percentages in determaining the amount of dmg taken to hp and armor along with a percentage chance of applying a CC to the mob. This would of course have to apply to the PC or it would be completely OP.
I.E. A mob has 100hp, 100pArm and 100 mArm. You hit the mob with a poison attack which would normally do 50 dmg. (I know, a lot but work with me here.) Instead of doing full dmg to health it would take 20% health and 80% armor. (Again, I'm not good with numbers, just throwing them out there so people can understand what I'm talking about.) This attack would also have a chance of catching the mob on fire dependent on how much armor the mob has. The more armor, the better chance of resisting, the less armor the more chance to inflict the status. I don't think the chance should ever go to 0% though.
Soooooo, anyone think this possible and up for it?
