I'm having a lot of fun getting know DOS2 - and there's something that would make the game (even) more enjoyable for me:

I wish I could raise the camera angle a bit more to peer into the distance.

I DO get that this is an isometric, strategy-oriented game, not a 3rd person action game - but it would still be fun to be able to take a more panoramic look at the beautiful surroundings. I also notice that the camera angles up a bit when I zoom in - just wondering if there could be a little more of that.

There is likely going to be a mod at some point to give us this, but to be honest, it wont be pretty. The world and its levels are built assuming the camera will look down all the time. So, no skybox, and no consideration for what things look like at a distance. So, while I think there is some room to give us a little more, having a fully rotatable camera will only show off parts of the game that arent there.

Mmm. Kind of guessed as much.
