The lady in Driftwood, upstairs in the tavern gives you a quest for a shipwreck for a compass.
If it's the shipwreck you get to by going through the wreckers cave, well I did, got the amulet, and nothing. Have compass, tried switching to other companions, dropping and picking it up and nothing.
Journal doesn't update and she doesn't say anything else with either of the companions.
