I was wondering if anyone has tried streaming the editor from his main pc to his laptop ? I have been trying with steam streaming but it chokes on the different windows of the editor. It thinks one of those windows is the main window and it shows fe the terrain panel full screen, instead of the full editor window.

This is just a convenience issue, so not that important but still I like to work anywhere in the house on stuff and being forced at my desktop is just a bit annoying.

Uhm, I think you need to change some settings on your laptop's monitor options. If you have Windows 10, try changing some things under the Projecting to this PC option. If I understand it right that you want your laptop to share your PC's display. I don't know if the opposite is possible, but worth a try.

I'll try some native win 10 setup when I get home then. I was thinking of using tightVNC, but that has a big delay on it and I rather avoid.

What I want to do is simple though, work on my laptop as if I'm sitting behind my desktop pc. I'll experiment some more with it.
