Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Collars & Other Bugs [SPOILERS]

I will mention again that this contains [SPOILERS]!!

My husband and I are playing a LAN game together, with him as the host. He created a unique character, while I used Sebille. While in Fort Joy, my husband selected Beast to come along with him, while I selected The Red Prince.

When we arrived at Amadia's Sanctuary, I spoke to the dwarf and his companion sitting together and asked if she could remove my collar. The npc dwarf said that his companion was in too bad a state and couldn't help us unless we found Gareth first and returned him safely. I received a Journal entry for removing the collars with (Sebille) written after it.

My husband then went and talked to the same pair (I was in listen mode) -- Beast said that he wanted to talk to the dwarf, they do, and Beast asks if she can remove their collars. To our surprise, she does remove their collars - but only my husband's and Beast's! So, as a result, I still had a quest where we had to bring back Gareth to remove our collars, while my husband and Beast were already able to use Source.

That feels like a bug, since clearly the lady is not too grieve-stricken to help us!

The only other bug I've encountered is that once Beast died halfway off of one surface and we were unable to resurrect him (it said invalid target) no matter where we stood. We ended up having to teleport him to some other bit of ground and then resurrect him.

Oh, and a couple of journal entries that don't make sense. For example, we saved Amyro from the mob boss and the journal says that Saheila will be pleased and we should go talk to her -- but when we go and talk to them, the journal is never updated. She just tells us we should leave the island.

Additionally, Withermore says he can help us get off the island if we find and destroy his soul jar. So, we find and destroy the soul jar, and the journal updates saying that we have done so. We go to Withermore, and he is obviously dead - as such, he can't tell us how to get off the island. Fine, makes sense, but the journal entry is still not marked as (Closed), even though he is dead. (Oh, and we've already been to Braccus' tower and had source to get through the barrier, which is supposedly where Withermore would have otherwise helped us).

Okay, that's it, I think!

We are really enjoying the game so far! We adored the first one, and could not wait for the second to be released!
