Well another topic that's bound to end up in the depth of those forums...
So...
Log in english is not "Journal" in french (which, incidentally has the same acception in French, and do not by any shot mean anything woodlike), but is "Bûche" (=log of wood, not log/journal).
Did not remember something this big in the first opus, for a professional translation this is ... well... Although maybe you have the same key for the two translation, if so : Houston we've got a problem.
tl;dr : a "log" of wood is a "bûche" in french not a "journal"
