Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Will there be a new demo?

Just asking... I thought, hey, since we have to wait extra long for the full game, why not another demo, demonstrating the new voices? (And maybe even a summoning doll, why not?)

Or... how about a sample of the new voice?

I had asked this before, and unfortunatly I think the answer is still no..
They think the ones who were gonna buy the game, will still after the demo, and trust on the devellopers to have fixed everything <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think it would take way too much time to make a new demo. Wouldn't be worth it...

Yeah but imagine that a new demo or voice samples are released and some people do not like them,... (some people liked the old DK voice so one could assume that some will not like the new one)... that would leave Larian in a tight spot; making the voices again and again until chrismas or losing their reputation of responsiveness to people on the forum.

In short, I do not think there will be a new demo.

take my word.. there WON'T be a new demo... not a lot of games get more than 1 demo and if they do, then it's mnostly SP and one MP demo, and since <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> doesn't have MP ....

Haven't played the demo yet...think I'll just get the full game when released!

Anyhoo, the more time spent making another demo the less time spent finishing the full game!

No game is ever perfect no matter who makes it...after a new demo there'd be another round of criticisms about other stuff to fix or change, and so it would continue, onwards until the end of time...unless.....no no...it's just too crazy!!
