Is there a way to screw a romance? can you get "locked-in" a romance?, can you romance more than 1 character or only 1 per playthrough?

You get to choose the partner at the end of Act 2 and it stays for the rest of Act 3. Romance makes it so that they like you by default (instant support, no persuasion) until I assume you really breaks their quests.

Then Epilogue happens and you go kick a dog out of pure rage.

The Epilogue is that bad?

Ok so before that point i can pretty much go trigger happy with the romances without problems? Are any non companion related relationships considered "romances"?

Romance wise, I will say it, in Fane voice too.

It's shit.

Your partner will go from lusting and loving from you to "Haha I joke with you and goodbye! I go my way now you go your way". Even with the prince dialogue, that's more of a joke or anything. It's soulless. It's generic. It's boring. It has no love. It has no life. You don't step on what makes a journey fulfilling and make it feel like you are left behind.

It's like, imagine a scene where a couple must part way at a train station and instead of the dude running after the train as it leaves to tell the girl how much he loves her and will continue to love her, he just turn his back, take out his phone and go on Tinder searching for a new girl straight away before the damn train even leave the station.

Or to take a lover out for one last goodbye dinner and ask him/her to fully pay for it.

Like, WTF. Did someone coat the stair on the way down with slippery oil?

All you get is a few dialogue in Act 3. That's all. The rest completely forget they love you and just stick with the generic attitude-base dialogue saying stuffs like "YOU CAN SEE AFFECTION IN IFAN EYES" that you have been reading everytime you say "I should go" to him in Act 2.

Wow that either seems like a huge oversight or like it was tacked on? I mean up until the end of act 2 its seemed pretty cute...save for Red Prince whose romance rubbed me the wrong way the instant he was like naw baby you're the side piece but you should be happy about that! (and it doesn't seem like you can change that at all : I )

Also 10/10 full critique read in Fane's disgusted tone of voice made my evening.

Well, I would think that of him too but in my attempt to change the scene if you click the second option or so the uh.. " What would she think seeing us?" He basically shrugs it off and said if he saw you with her it would break his heart. I kind of took that as 1. Sadha didn't know about the lil affair business and 2. He didn't want to share. Either of you. xD I guess it might be just me but the entire thing just made him seem rather... Skeevy.

And so it takes a fantasy world filled with magic and miracles for a powerful emperor to only have 1 wife that he doesn't even have 100% crush on.

The one with Sadha, he always call it "Destiny"
But the one with you, he mention it that he hungers for it and will even use the wine he save for his "Destiny".

Complete slap in the face with generic prepared ending.

We were even the one to help save Sadha so pretty much own us her lives to begin with, both with protection and with swornbreaker.

At this point, the ending is 100% the reason I don't want to replay the game yet because who likes to invest 80 hours into something they know will slap them in the face with the NTR?

I doubt it. I thought they got rid of the wife in the release since Sadha wasn't mentioned in Act 1.

Suddenly, she's back.

And she even gave you the NTR ending, the most hated ending in any romance.

Hell, make me the next Shadow Prince, I will dye my char black and make her my new footstep.

When Char A and Char B relationship is built up for like 80% of the game and even commits as a couple.

B has been NTR'd, completely defeated by someone the viewers and players don't even care about and even hate.

The ending no one wants in any romance.

That's the problem. I will have no problem if after the slave joke and you accept, the dialogue go slightly further where you actually get to express the desire to go with him and he express some kind of desire to have you around as well.

The current one with the "You go sleep with Sadha then, I will go on a new adventure." is a cuck move, one where you completely accept the defeat.

They really just have to add "With you by his side" to the start of the red prince narration and remove the last part.

Add this to every char you commit to and agree to stay with so it goes like

"The red prince" "With you by his side" "blahlbalhlbah"

Done.

I'm shocked that not more people are uncomfortable with the way the ending plays out? I thought since it was sort of a game of choice there would be some way to change the outcome ovo; I don't blame Ellezard for not wanting to do a replay. Personally I really like the Red Prince and after having some NTR sensor tingling restarted the game to not ...do...that.

Edit: I mean with all the epilogues like that it really blows.
