Hello there, I'm going to start a playthrough with 3 friends next week, I haven't played the game yet but I know that the origin characters have their own storylines and if you pick them or recruit them as a companion you can complete those storylines. In this playthrough I'm going to pick Fane but I'm not sure whether my friends are going to pick origin or custom characters. One way or another, there are going to be two leftover origin characters minimum, so my question is: if you have a full multiplayer party can you complete the story of the companions that you don't have in your party?
PS: On a sidenote, what are elemental blank scrolls for? I haven't seen their use in any of the crafting guides. (I'm referring to scrolls like "Blank water scroll")
