Just finished up the vault of Braccus Rex quest for Gratiana and when returning to her with the soul jars you can ask her about why she wants them and what is she hiding.

Then she reveals to you that she's an undead and goes off on you explaining that she's waited centuries and watched live come and go.

Playing as Fane it seems rather strange that after this you have 0 responses to her as Fane or Undead yourself, kind of feel like you should be able to show her your face and explained that you've waited even longer then she.

That's because Fane is not undead and he looks at other races as a researcher would look at monkeys.

I'm not sure that the first bit is accurate, while the second most certainly is.

- Fane looks like an undead.
- He has the 'undead' tag.
- The game identifies him as an undead creature.
- He shares all the mechanics with undead NPCs (e.g. heals from poison, suffers from heals).
- He even has conversations where he replies as an undead. (Don't want to spoil, but the graveyard philosopher comes to mind.)

If it looks like a chicken, if it tastes like chicken, and if it squawks like a chicken, then... well... it might just be a chicken. Well, preferably in reverse order to be sure, otherwise you'd be talking about an undead chicken.

The caveat is that I haven't completed the game yet, so maybe there's some big reveal coming. But at least for now, for all intents and purposes he is an undead Eternal.

Re: OT: I had expected a bit more there, too. But then I wasn't terribly impressed with how Gratiana was handled anyway; I would really have hoped for more conversation options to confront her about her past. Plus I ran into her recharge bug too, so I tried to forget that whole situation pretty fast wink

This.

I had so many questions for her.

In the end, I broke her soul jar in front of her. She wants her suffering to end? Releasing her soul just do that. For some reason she wants to stay "alive" after 1k years of being an undead. I find this -at least- very suspicious.

If she's honest with you and tell you the truth she have nothing to fear when you break the soul jar. think

Well the whole Eternal part is not explained well, for all we know eternals begin that way or something, but even if he is undead Eternal, then he would still not be making out with undead monkey and he has reasons to not want that as well to begin with.

Oh and there will be one hell of reveal allright, I was there like lol wtf, really?
