this isn't funny anymore... everytime I turn on the computer the game won't start. It crashes. It just shows the sword loading then at the end crashes.
I've tried software, directx & direct draw. Also I have switched my desktop to 16 bit, cleared the Dynamic folder and it still crashes. I've also uninstalled it & reinstalled it countless times. This morning it was working fine before I switched off the pc. When I got home from work though it just went all haywire.
I've spent the last 4 hours trying to get it to work now(last night spent almost 10 hours of uninstalling and reinstalling). reinstalled latest nvidia drivers, reinstalled direct X (this time version 8.1 from the CD-rom) and it still crashes. I've followed the instructions on this site step by step and still nothing... -.-
I can't afford to spend 4-6 hours every single day to resolve these tech problems.
Is there anyway for Larian to do a major fix of this game? Because as of this moment it's really FUBAR which is a shame because it's a really good game.
